Who Can Use the Makerspace

STUDENT PROJECT TEAMS

Evenings and weekends during the academic year, peak demand February-June
Student fabrication supervised by Makerspace staff weekdays and student temp staff evenings and weekends
Project teams are selected for residence in the Student Team Space in coordination with Robotics faculty and staff, considering membership in the Michigan Applied Robotics Group and alignment with Robotics core faculty and research areas
Aim to provide a seamless experience between FMCRB and WSTPC for all student project teams regardless of primary residence

ROBOTICS LAB COURSES

Scheduled lab hours weekdays during the academic year
Hands-on lab activities supervised by faculty and GSI/IA trained in Makerspace equipment, assisted by Makerspace staff

Draft Curricular Support Agreement

ROBOTICS RESEARCH LABS

Weekdays year-round
Research fabrication supported by Robotics Department permanent staff and researchers trained in Makerspace equipment, assisted by Makerspace staff

GENERAL CAMPUS USERS

Fabrication supervised by Makerspace staff weekdays and student temp staff evenings and weekends
Campus community support as staffing and resources allow
