ABOUT THE SPACE
The Robotics Makerspace includes 4500 sq ft of design, fabrication, assembly, and testing resources in the Ford Motor Company Robotics Building to support student project teams, graduate and undergraduate courses, faculty research labs, and the wider campus community. The Makerspace is managed by the Wilson Student Team Project Center (WSTPC) and is staffed by Makerspace Supervisor Alyssa Emigh and student laboratory assistants with responsibility for safety, training, operations, and programming in coordination with the Robotics Department. The Makerspace is staffed 90 hours/week during the academic year including evening and weekend hours, and 24/7 access is available for certain resources and users with appropriate training.
